Who We Are
Claremore Nazarene is a protestant church in the Wesleyan-Holiness movement. From the denomination's humble beginning as a mission in Los Angeles, CA in 1898 to today, we serve people in 162 world areas sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The mission of the Church of the
Nazarene is:
· show unconditional love, the love of Jesus to the least, last and lost because people matter to God and matter to us.
· loving people as Christ first loved us.
· see that the least matter, the last get a hand up, and the lost are saved.
Claremore Nazarene follows that same idea:
· all people matter to us and deserve to be loved as Christ first loved us.
· we are to LOVE Christ and one another into a relationship with each other and to help
· GROW us into the people God designed us to be and into a body that glorifies God which pushes us to
· SERVE Christ in various forms so that the body of Christ, the Church, is built up (Ephesians 4:11-16).
May you find our church a place you can call home.
